Bartosz Grzelak and Adrian Gula summarised the first summer pre-season match.

Bartosz Grzelak:
"It was our first summer preparation game and we faced an opponent who are much further ahead in their preparation, and we had a lot of players missing, some of them were away on national team duty, others were injured. Today's match served the purpose of practising our style of play in match situations well. There were things in the match that looked good, but also things that we will need to improve on quickly. I'm happy that we had a good number of players from the second team show up in today's match, but since they have only a few more training sessions with us, it wasn't an easy match for them. I am confident that we will have more players from the first team available from next week."
Adrian Gula:
"I was happy with our performance for most of the game, we had some good periods in today's game. I'm pleased that we were able to be effective in front of the opposition goal, we started the game well, we attacked well, but it's annoying that we needed more chances to take the lead again. We know that Fehérvár are in a completely different phase of preparation than us, but we are focused on our team and our game. We played in a great stadium on a great pitch, thank you for the hospitality of the home team."

Before the match against Mezőkövesd, the ceremonial unveiling of the statue will start at 18:00 on the square in front of the northern facade of the Sóstó stadium. Supporters are also welcome to the event!

Four years after Roland Juhász was made an Honorary Citizen of Székesfehérvár, Nemanja Nikolics was also awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Székesfehérvár on the 20th August.
