Tomas Tujvel joined Videoton FC from Nitra in the summer of 2009. He spent the first part of his career with Vidi playing mainly for the second team. He also played in several league cup matches for the first team. His first division debut came in the final match of the 2009/2010 league season, when he kept goal for Vidi in the final match away at Győri ETO. He then went on to make a further four appearances during the 2010/2011 league season. His real breakthrough came with the arrival of manager Paulo Sousa to the club. He became first team goalkeeper, playing in the Championship league qualifying matches, and the Super cup final. Tujvel also made 15 appearances for Videoton FC, helping the red and blues to third in the OTP league table. He has now signed a contract extension for a further three and a half years.
