Gyereksarok122008 telén érkezett klubunkhoz a már akkor is kipróbált NB I-es harcosnak tekinthető Polonkai, aki korábban a BVSC színeiben már kupadöntős volt, majd játszott a Vasasnál, ezüstérmes lett Újpesten, később pedig a REAC-ból lett válogatott játékos - három szereplése egyike például Anglia ellen esett, amikor is az Old Traffordon léphetett pályára.
Több mint 90 bajnoki jutott neki klubunknál és magyar bajnok, valamint kétszeres ezüstérmes, Magyar Kupa-döntős és kétszeres Ligakupa-győztes is lett. Ő lőtte azt a 81. perces találatot, amellyel a Kaposvár elleni bajnokin bebiztosítottuk a Vidi történetének első NB I-es elsőségét.

2008 telén érkezett klubunkhoz a már akkor is kipróbált NB I-es harcosnak tekinthető Polonkai, aki korábban a BVSC színeiben már kupadöntős volt, majd játszott a Vasasnál, ezüstérmes lett Újpesten, később pedig a REAC-ból lett válogatott játékos - három szereplése egyike például Anglia ellen esett, amikor is az Old Traffordon léphetett pályára.
Több mint 90 bajnoki jutott neki klubunknál és magyar bajnok, valamint kétszeres ezüstérmes, Magyar Kupa-döntős és kétszeres Ligakupa-győztes is lett. Ő lőtte azt a 81. perces találatot, amellyel a Kaposvár elleni bajnokin bebiztosítottuk a Vidi történetének első NB I-es elsőségét.
Élvonalbeli pályafutásának nem nálunk lett vége, hiszen Felcsútra igazolt, ahol később csapatkapitány is lett és még több mint 60 mérkőzés jutott neki - karrierje során a 300-at is átlépte.
