Fehérvár FC and Puskás Akadémia FC agreed on that Balázs Tóth will strengthen our team on loan until the 30th June 2024, and our club will have the option to buy him next summer.

The 191 cm tall keeper, Balázs Tóth was born on the 4th September 1997 in Kazincbarcika, where he got used to the basics of football, and then joined Puskás Akadémiaja in 2008. For one year, between 2012 and 2013, he was a member of the Vidi U17 team, playing together with Csaba Spandler, who returned to our club in the summer. In the 2018/2019 season, he kept goal on loan at NB II Csákvár. He made his debut in the top division in March 2020, in a league match against Mezőkövesd. In the 2020/2021 season, he was voted the best goalkeeper in the OTP Bank Liga by the Nemzeti Sport newspaper, based on his results. In July 2021, he made his international debut at senior level in the qualifying round of the Europa Conference League (he also played in the UEFA Youth League). In the NB I, he has played in 76 league matches, 23 of which have seen him keep a clean sheet.

He played in one match for the U21 national team in 2018 and was invited by Marco Rossi to join the Hungarian senior team in 2021.

I want to become the number one goalkeeper for Vidi as soon as possible, that's my main goal. And on a team level, I would really like to see Vidi back where they were before.
