Vidi kicked off the new NB I league season on Sunday. They defeated newcomers Kaposvar 4-2 at the MOL Arena Sosto. Summer signing Adrian Rus made his first start for Marko Nikolic' side and we spoke to him after the final whistle. 

"I was really looking forward to the moment when I would make my debut for Vidi. I am delighted that it was at home and in front of our own supporters. It was good to make my debut in a game that we won. It is an important milestone in my career. I was a little bit nervous before the game but I quickly managed to pick up the tempo of the game. I felt that my debut went well. My team mates did all they could to help me out there on the pitch. Roland Juhasz gave me the biggest support and I know that I can learn so much from him in training and in matches. I was upset that we conceded two goals but fortunately our attack was effective. We could have won by an even bigger margin with some more fortune. We will have a tougher game on Sunday at the home of Puskas Academy. Our next opponents opened up the season with a good win and they did it by playing good football. I am sure that it will be a tough 90 minutes ahead of us. Our aim is to come away from the Pancho Arena with 3 points" - commented Adrian Rus.
