Visar Musliu has signed a contract with Vidi. The 24 year old North Macedonian central defender joins from champions KF Shkendija.

Musliu was born on the 13th November 1994 in Gostivar. His career started at his local club before he joined Renova. He made his debut in the first division at the age of 19 in 2013, before moving abroad in 2014 to Swiss club St Gallen where he spent half a year with their youth side, before returning back to Renova. His good performances earned him a move to record champions Vardar Skopje in the summer of 2017. He would move to Pristina and then on to Shkendija half a year later. He was voted player of the year in his country for season 2018-19 and has 159 league appearances to his name scoring 16 goals. 

The North Macedonian international made his debut for his country in September 2017 and has been capped 14 times since. 

"I am happy to be linking up with MOL Fehervar FC today. I have collected plenty of information on the team recently. Boban Nikolov has also been helpful and I have known him for 10 years now. We played together at Varda for half a season. We also spent many years in the various youth teams for our country and also at senior level. I have arrived here with big expectations and my sole targets are to win the league and Hungarian Cup in Hungary with Vidi. I also want to help the club do well in European competition. I like what I have so far seen of the city. The MOL Arena Sosto is a lovely arena and I hope that I can play on that pitch" - commented Visar Musliu.

"We have been looking at Visar for a while now. We have added to the squad with another international player, which shows the strength of Vidi. He has serious experience already despite his young age from his time with his clubs and for his country. Although there were other teams from Western Europe after him, hard work and long negotiations have ended with him signing. I could feel with him that he wanted to come here although his former club did not want to release him while they were still involved in Europe. Just like with the signing of Rus Adrian, the aim was to increase the numbers in this position." - commented Zoltan Kovacs.

Visar Musliu will wear the number 16 shirt for MOL Fehervar FC.
