"A good 7 years before when I was around 18 years old, I had my first training camp with the first team of Partizan. It was in Austria. I picked up wonderful experience then. I have taken part in several winter and summer training camps, including Israel, Turkey and once with Partizan, like now in Dubai. It was back in 2012 and at the very same hotel as we are now with Vidi. There are so many memories flooding back. I was in Dubai a few weeks ago during the winter break to relax with my girlfriend. I managed to see the other side of this town. Now things are all about work, which is the main thing. I am the kind of footballer that likes the pre-season period. I have been working hard and go to bed each evening tired. I know that it is down to the work that I have done during the day. It all helps me to become a slightly better player. I am looking forward to the game with Zenit, which will be our first friendly game. I would like to see where we are as a team and individually. The second training camp will be special for me as I spent time when I was younger in Spain. It is like my second home. We will also play more friendly games against serious opponents. It is important for the pre-season to go well as there are serious games awaiting us at the start of the spring season. Fate is in our hand and we need to start with the best results. I am pleased that I scored many goals in the autumn and I hope that I will score important goals in the spring. I also want to help the team out with assists" - commented Marko Scepovic.
