Tamas Vasko played at the heart of the Videoton defence in Wednesday's Hungarian cup win over Győri ETO. Balazs Toth was captain on the night, but when he came off during the match, he handed the armband over to the big defender. 

„The match turned out just as we had spoken about it in the dressing room, with us tactically defending, and we did not allow Győr to think for a single minute, that they would have a chance in the tie. We scored an early goal, which made things easier, and surprised them" - explained Vasko, thinking back to the cup game in ETO Park. Tamas has been a captain in the past, and he was the most senior of the Hungarian players in the second half, which is why he put on the arm band once again. 

Vasko will not feature in Sunday's big home league match with Debrecen, after he picked up a booking, which means he has to serve a ban. However, he still shared his thoughts on the top of the table clash. "We have to prepare for every match, and this is one among many. It is true to say that if we manage to win, then we are still in with a chance of winning the league title. The match will be at home, and I hope that many fans will turn out, and I expect the team to win. We are in good form right now, so I think that we will be the favourites in Fehervar" - concluded Tamas Vasko.
