Videoton FC have chosen the small beautiful village of Brentonico as their training camp base, ahead of the 2011/2012 season. It is a perfect setting for Paulo Sousa and his squad to prepare for the champions league and new league season ahead. Brentonico is part of the municipality of the northern Italian region of Trentino. Videoton are based at the family run hotel called San Giacomo, which lies 30km south west of Trento. Brentonico has a small population of just under 4,000. Nearby is the world famous lake of Garda, with Riva at the northern point, needing little introduction for its beauty and elegance. The training pitch, which the Videoton squad uses twice a day lies approximately 10km from the hotel. The players and coaching staff board a coach for the 15 minute journey along the winding and challenging tight mountain roads.
