Gyorgy Mezey: "It was a battling, yet difficult match for us, as Ujpest are a very good side. Games against sides like these are never easy, and it is hard to grind out a win, especially an easy one. We had to work for these three points, with our opponents having chances in the first half, but we managed to create more chances overall. That is why I think that the result was realistic. I would still like to congratulate Ujpest, who played bravely and showed plenty for the future."

Geza Meszoly "We once again played in a very good match. What we spoke about before the match, and what we promised to do, playing bravely at the home of one of the title contenders, we managed to do in the first half. It is a shame that we could not score from one of our five efforts on goal. We really needed one of those to go in so that we could lead at the break. Videoton then pressed us back in the first twenty minutes of the second half. They also brought on Nikolics at half time, who went on to score the only goal of the game. That goal came at a time when we were coming back into the match. Videoton are a good and experienced side, and I would like to congratulate them on finishing top of the league for the autumn season."
