Gyereksarok904Nehéz szavakat találni arra, amit Karsai László klubunk számára jelent. Bár nem fehérvári származású, hiszen 1959 és 1967 között az MTK-nál nevelkedett - mi több, hat meccs erejéig NB I-es játékos is lett -, természetesen mindenki a Vidivel azonosítja őt.
1967-ben érkezett Fehérvárra és azonnal története első NB I-es szerepléséhez segítette csapatunkat, 30 meccsen 11-szer volt eredményes. Az élvonalban sem sokkal adta alább, 9-szer talált be, de igazán csak még érettebb játékosként, a kiesést követően szakadt ki a gólzsák: 1969-ben 30 meccsen 34-szer (!) ünnepelhetett. Ezzel természetesen gólkirály lett és a Vidit is visszajuttatta az első osztályba.
1970-től 1981-ig folyamatosan kulcsjátékosunknak, 1975-től csapatkapitányunknak számított. Tagja az 1975-76-os idényben az aranyéremtől emlékezetes körülmények között megfosztott együttesnek, játszott a csapat első nemzetközi kupamérkőzésén, az 1981-82-es idény elején pedig bajnoki búcsúmeccset is kapott, melyen a 64. percben cserélték le - az volt a 335. vidis bajnokija, ennél többször csak Végh Tibor játszott csapatunkban az NB I-es bajnokságban.
Ezt követően Eisenstadtban, Ausztriában vezetett le, 1983-ban még a Bakonyi Vegyésznél is lehúzott pár meccset.
1970 és 1974 között 8 alkalommal játszott a magyar válogatottban, Lengyelország ellen gólt is lőtt. 1979-ben még két olimpiai selejtezőn léphetett pályára a 15-szörös ifjúsági és háromszoros utánpótlás-válogatott, egyébiránt műszerész végzettségű labdarúgó.

Nehéz szavakat találni arra, amit Karsai László klubunk számára jelent. Bár nem fehérvári származású, hiszen 1959 és 1967 között az MTK-nál nevelkedett - mi több, hat meccs erejéig NB I-es játékos is lett -, természetesen mindenki a Vidivel azonosítja őt.
1967-ben érkezett Fehérvárra és azonnal története első NB I-es szerepléséhez segítette csapatunkat, 30 meccsen 11-szer volt eredményes. Az élvonalban sem sokkal adta alább, 9-szer talált be, de igazán csak még érettebb játékosként, a kiesést követően szakadt ki a gólzsák: 1969-ben 30 meccsen 34-szer (!) ünnepelhetett. Ezzel természetesen gólkirály lett és a Vidit is visszajuttatta az első osztályba.
1970-től 1981-ig folyamatosan kulcsjátékosunknak, 1975-től csapatkapitányunknak számított. Tagja az 1975-76-os idényben az aranyéremtől emlékezetes körülmények között megfosztott együttesnek, játszott a csapat első nemzetközi kupamérkőzésén, az 1981-82-es idény elején pedig bajnoki búcsúmeccset is kapott, melyen a 64. percben cserélték le - az volt a 335. vidis bajnokija, ennél többször csak Végh Tibor játszott csapatunkban az NB I-es bajnokságban.
Ezt követően Eisenstadtban, Ausztriában vezetett le, 1983-ban még a Bakonyi Vegyésznél is lehúzott pár meccset.
1970 és 1974 között 8 alkalommal játszott a magyar válogatottban, Lengyelország ellen gólt is lőtt. 1979-ben még két olimpiai selejtezőn léphetett pályára a 15-szörös ifjúsági és háromszoros utánpótlás-válogatott, egyébiránt műszerész végzettségű labdarúgó.
Visszavonulása után a klub utánpótlásában dolgozott edzőként, a mai napig Székesfehérváron él.
