Gyereksarok264Alig 17 éves korában vált élvonalbeli labdarúgóvá a csepeli nevelésű Csucsánszky Zoltán. A tehetséges labdarúgót azonban annak ellenére sem becsülték meg eléggé Csepelen, hogy az 1984-85-ös idényben már mind a 30 meccsen pályára lépett, így a szezon végeztével a Vidi igazolta le.
Nagyon hamar húzóemberré vált, 1991-ig 20 gól fűződött a nevéhez, játszott 4 UEFA Kupa-selejtezőn és ő lett klubunk történetének 19. válogatott játékosa, amikor egy Görögország elleni felkészülési mérkőzésen pályára lépett és azon kevesek egyike, akik mesterhármast értek el a Vidi színeiben. Összesen 5 válogatottság jutott neki, mivel egyre gyakrabban volt sérült, amely végülis karrierjébe került.
1992 telén a Vác igazolta le, ahol még egy alkalommal szóhoz jutott (így bajnoki ezüstérmes lett), de aztán osztrák alacsonyabb osztályú gárdáknál futballozott, illetve hazánkban Tárnokon és Zamárdin.
Már 1997-től dolgozni kezdett a Vidinél, akkor Disztl László segítőjeként, de később Csongrádi mellett is edzősködött, 2003 és 2006 között pedig technikai igazgató volt.
