The former league and cup winner with Vidi has taken over the reins of our first team.

According to the agreement between the 39-year-old coach and our club, Szabolcs Huszti will be the acting head coach of the first team of MOL Fehérvár FC from Monday!
Szabolcs Huszti was born on the 18th April 1983 in Miskolc, and spent his childhood in Veszprém county. At the age of 14 after a trial he was signed by Ferencváros. He made his NB I debut there, spending half a year on loan in Sopron, then in 2005 he was signed by Metz in the French top flight, from where he moved to Hannover in the Bundesliga a year later. After playing for Russian club Zenit from 2009 to 2012, he returned to Hannover for another two years, scoring 43 goals and assisting 43 times in 154 appearances for the club. In 2014, he moved to China's Changchun Yatai, before signing for Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany after a year and a half, before returning to China in 2017.
In January 2018, he returned home after twelve and a half years in exile, celebrating a league title at the end of the season and a place in the Europa League group stage in the autumn. He won the Hungarian Cup in 2019, was silver medalist in 2019 and 2020 with Vidi, scoring 7 goals in 43 league games. After retiring in 2020, he worked as a sports coach at our club from summer to November, and then managed the NB I side DVSC between February and October 2021, together with former Vidi II head coach Gábor Toldi, who will also assist him at Vidi.
