Milanov, Stopira and Nikolov all ended up winners

The Cape Verde defender scored a lovely goal with a header for his country.

Hungary lost 1-0 in Greece on Friday evening in the Nations League. Defender Attila Fiola and midfielder Istvan Kovacs played in the match. Paulo Vinicius and Mate Patkai did not feature although they were part of the Hungarian squad. There were another 3 players that represented their country over the weekend.

The biggest success went to Stopira as his country comfortably beat Tanzania 3-0 in the African Cup of Nations Cup. The Cape Verde defender headed his sides third goal from 12 meters to complete a good win. That saw them go top of the group until Saturday when Uganda beat Lesotho 3-0. Stopira and Cape Verde are now in second place and are next in action on Tuesday when they travel to Tanzania.

Macedonia continued their good form as they entertained Liechtenstein on Saturday evening. Boban Nikolov came on after 68 minutes in his sides comfortable 4-1 win, which means that Macedonia have a 100% record in their group after 3 games. They will now travel to Armenia on Tuesday. 

Bulgaria had a difficult game at home to Cyprus with the visitors leading at half time 1-0. Georgi Mihalov came on after 57 minutes and they levelled two minutes later. Bulgaria went on to score the winning goal after 68 minutes to complete a 2-1 victory. This means that Bulgaria also have a 100% success rate in their group. They are next up against second place Norway on Tuesday evening.
