The midfielder arrived in September and joins three Bosnians, two Montenegro and Macedonians, El Salvador and a Cape Verde.

It has not only been Hungarian players representing their country while playing for Vidi over the years. Stopira has been a regular for the Cape Verde Islands, Boban Nikolov for Macedonia, Georgi Milanov is the first Vidi player to play for Bulgaria.
The Tenth
Milanov was the 62nd player to play for his country while playing and contracted to Vidi. He appeared in their recent match with Cyprus. If we look at foreign players only: the Bulgarian was the 10th Vidi player to play for another international side.
The first Vidi player to play for his country was back in 1989 when Zsolt Muzsnay played in the 1990 World Cup finals for Romania We then had to wait until 2007 for the next player from Fehervar to represent his country.
The other nine players can be found below.
Sóstó was the setting for the debut
Mario Bozic made a memorable debut: The Bosnia and Herzegovina international team played a qualifying game at the Sostoi stadium in Szekesfehervar against Hungary. The former midfielder came on in the 79th minute. Also playing in that game were Vedad Ibisevic and Edin Dzeko. Current Vidi captain Roland Juhasz could also talk about the game having played the whole match in the 1-0 win. The second player to play for his country was another Bosnian in Jusuf Dajic. The game was played in Zenica on the 1st June 2008.
Dajic played against Azerbaijan and was on the pitch for 60 minutes before travelling back to Hungary and coming on as a sub the following day to help Vidi. His country won 1-0 and Vidi also emerged 3-1 winners.
Montenegro next up
The two Bosnians were followed by two from Montenegro. Season 2008-09 included 10 goal striker Goran Vujovics and he played the whole game in June against Cyprus in his debut. Another to play was Mrko Vucsinics, in the 2-2 draw. However, he would not play for his country again.
The summer of 2010 saw record keeper Mladen Bozsovics arrive to Fehérvár He would go on to spend three years with Vidi and he was a virtual ever present for his country Montenegro during his time with us. That meant 24 games and that put him joint top player in international caps with Vidi legend Ferenc Csongradi.
Bozsovic put in some memorable performances for Montenegro while with Vidi. Those included games in the 2012 EL qualifiers to help his side qualify. There was also the 1-0 wins over Wales, Bulgaria and Switzerland in 2010 and a 0-0 draw in Wembley against England.
Players from other continents
Players 5 and 6 come from different continents.
Stopira joined Vidi in the summer of 2012 and helped the team to the Europa League group stage. He also was part of Cape Verde side that beat Cameroon 2-0 in the Africa Cup of Nations. He suffered a serious injury in the EL game with Sporting and was forced to sit out a lengthy period. He continued to play for his country in 2013 and 2014. There were matches in January 2015 against Tunezia, Congo DK and Zambia where he played the entire match. He has played 18 times for his country since the summer of 2012. He also scored a goal last week in the 3-0 win over Tanzania.
Arturo Álvarez was another Vidi player to play for his country but this time El Salvador. The winger had been a regular for his country but first played for them as a Vidi player in September 2014. He would go on to play 18 times before leaving Vidi.
Back to Europe
Just like Alvarez, another player with plenty of international experience was Mirko Ivanovski. The Macedonian forward played 27 times and scored in 2011, but he would not get a further chance with his last 4 matches coming in 2015. He would leave Vidi to move to Turkey.
The spring of 2014 saw a debut in the colours of Bosnia for Anel Hadzic. The current Vidi player also played in the World Cup finals and featured in the 3-1 win over Iran. He had made 13 appearances until June 2016. He signed for the Fehervar side and has played a further game against Gibraltar, which they won 4-0. He also made an assist in a match that he started in.
The ninth is Boban Nikolov. He arrived to the club at the start of 2018 and is another to play for his country, which is Macedonia. He has played 5 matches for his country this year and they remain unbeaten.
