Attila Fiola: My heart took me forward

The defender played in Hungary's 2-1 win over Greece on Tuesday evening.

The new UEFA Nations League saw Hungary play their second match on Tuesday evening. The game against Greece took place at the Groupama Arena in Budapest. Defender Attila Fiola played the whole game and he spoke after the final whistle about the match.

"I am pleased that we managed to win our second game. You could see the difference between today's game and the one against Finland. I feel that we would not have had any problems on Saturday had we not conceded a goal in the opening 10 minutes. The team battled today as they did in the weekend match. We looked at the Greek side and knew how they would play so they did not really surprise us. We really wanted this win and thankfully we managed it. I played the whole game and I have plenty of matches in my legs over the summer, so I am really tired. My heart pulled me through in the final 15 minutes as my legs felt heavy. I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead for Vidi over the autumn" - commented Attila Fiola.
