The new Videoton manager shared his thoughts on the 10 day training camp and also commented about the youngsters that travelled with the squad.

"It was very important for me as the manager, that my team played with stability in the four friendly games at the training camp. I said earlier that it is a very popular thing to push that somebody likes his team to play attacking football, but football is a more complex thing. You have to perform well in all of the elements of the game, scoring goals and to use the ball well when you have it and also be able to defend. You have to perform well in the important elements in modern day football. We practised many things in the training sessions. We discussed a lot during video analysis, so I can confidently say that we are trying to give the players the best possible knowledge for the matches. Vidi are already playing the way I would like them to, but naturally there is still a lot of work ahead of us" - commented Marko Nikolic after the end of the 10 day training camp in Austria.
"Everybody worked very hard during the almost two weeks together and since the start of pre-season. We have not had any injuries, which is very important. We have been developing each day tactically. This is the most important and also the fitness preparations have also played a big part."
There were several youngsters that travelled out to the training camp. Bendeguz Burka and David Magda, as well as youth international Attila Mocsi, Bendeguz Bolla and Bence Szabo.
"This was a fantastic chance for the youngsters. They had the chance to train and play alongside quality players like Roland Juhasz, Danko Lazovic, Vinicius and several others. They picked up important experience. These three youngsters that arrived from other clubs and were in a Vidi shirt for the first time, showed that they have big potential within them and performed well. If they can continue to develop, then they can have an important part in the future of the club" - commented the manager.
