Hi! My name is Helga, and I will try my best to help you get to know the players that play week in, week out for Videoton better. Here is my question and answer session with Midfielder Istvan Kovacs. Let's get straight to it.

- Where do you go and what do you do when you want to unwind?
I am very family focuses, so for me it is going home to my family to unwind in Vasvar. Sadly I do not get to do this too often, so I spend time with my girlfriend taking part in a program to rest.

- What item do you feel that you cannot live without?
I do not have any as I do not really cling to any item. Perhaps it would be the console that I play on.

- What are the three main factors that you look for in a woman?
She should be reliable, kind and I do not like those women who are self-conscious in a bad sense.

- Would you let your girlfriend influence you on the clothes that you wear?
Yes. She does this now. She gives her input in a good way and helps, giving opinions and I am pleased.

- Do you ever buy her flowers?
Yes, I do. Not only for occasions, but just when I feel like it. There are times when I give her a single rose, but I like the potted plants. We have lots of these in the flat and I like to look after them. 

- What was your favourite subject at school?
 I liked history the most. I enjoyed learning about it when I was at home.

- Do you have any memorable moments from your childhood?
There was a habit at nursery on birthdays to have a wish. My wish was to play pirates. I was the captain and the entire nursery joined in with the game. That was my first memory that I can remember from my childhood, and it is a pleasing one for me. 

- Do you ever watch cartoons?
Yes, but I prefer animated films rather than cartoons. Gru is my favourite, and I liked Tom and Jerry from a young age the most. 

- What could you imagine yourself doing if you were not a footballer?
Archaeologist or historian

- What has been the best moment in your career so far?
The home game against Trabzonspor in the Europa League. It is true that I was a substitute in the game and came on for a few minutes, but it was a fantastic feeling for me and the one that I remember back to most gladly. 

- Do you have any pre-match habits before going out on to the pitch?
None, as I am not superstitious. I feel that someone who does everything, working hard and believes in himself has not need for such things. 

 - Where would you be happier to live, a village or a major town?
In a small village close to a big town. I like to live in a quiet place, where I can pay attention to the family, and look after the garden. It is good if there is a town close by where we can plan programs if that is what we are in the mood for.

- Which sporting event did you last watch?
I was here for the ice hockey game recently in Fehervar.

- If we are talking about dancing, which player is the best with his feet?
Stopira is by far the best in this area. He is a class act in the dressing room an often has a full
choreography ready. If only I could dance as he can. 

- Have you been to a certain place in the World that you would be glad to revisit?
I have been to many places, but I do not really have the will to go back to any particular place. I would rather like to visit new places and see the world. 

- Do you ever cook?
I cannot cook. I tried once to make a scrambled egg, but it did not end well. My career in the kitchen came to an end then. 

-How do you want to see yourself in 5 years’ time?
Being happy. I think that this is the key to everything. If we am not happy, and do not meet things in the world, then we will not be able to be pleased if there is something positive. So I would like to see myself being happy and healthy.
