Nemanja Nikolics is the top goalscorer for the second time

The striker scored 18 goals in 2014, which he did similarly back in 2010.

The Hungarian FA chose the Telki centre on Monday to hand out their end of season awards. The match official of the year award went to Ando-Szabo Sandor. The player of the year was Peter Szakaly of Debrecen. Manager of the year went to Elemer Kondas of Debrecen, who ended up winning the league. The emerging player of the year award was handed to Győr player Zsolt Kalmar. 

There was also an award for the season's top goalscorer. That was shared between Paks striker Attila Simon and Videoton goalscorer Nemanja Nikolics, who both ended the season with 18 goals. It was the second time that Niko has collected this award, having scored 18 goals back in 2010.

 

Nemanja Nikolics started his playing career in Hungary in the second division. He played for Barcs and then Kaposvolgye, before making the switch to Kaposvar for the 2007/2008 season. He spent two years there before moving to Videoton FC.
