- The new season has begun really well, not just for the team, but also for you too, with you scoring three goals in the opening two league wins. Have you had such a good start to a season before?

I am very pleased that we have started the new season so well. I will honestly say that I cannot remember beginning a new season before with three goals. It feels really good, but the most important thing is that the team does well. It is just the icing on the cake if my goals help the team to success.

- Was it Ferencvaros or the hot weather that provided the biggest problem on Sunday?

It was Ferencvaros, as not only our team had to cope with the challenging weather conditions. We managed to beat a very good Fradi side away from home. The team from the capital played some very confident football. I think that there is very good work going on at their club right now. It is not by accident that I count them as one of the favourites to win the league. The hot weather was not the most suitable to play football in, but both teams did all they could to give the supporters an entertaining match to watch. We started the match better, but Ferencvaros had several chances to level after we took the lead. We managed to sort things out at half time, and the home side did not have any real chances to score in the second period. We also doubled our lead, which was good. I felt that we deserved to win the game, and  if we could have been more precise in front of goal, we could have won by a higher margin. I am thinking of the great shot that Torghelle had, which hit the crossbar.

- If we are talking about goals, are you aware of how many goals you had scored when you found the back of the net in the 7th minute?

Of course, that was my 50th league goal for Videoton, while the penalty was my 51st.

- Yes! But let's talk about that 50th goal! Were you counting on the Dutch defender making a mistake, leading up to the goal?

It was a difficult situation, as there were two players marking me before the goal. I could see that when Otten got hold of the ball, he wanted to pass it back to the keeper. A forward always has to keep alert in situations like these, independent of what chance he may have to get hold of the ball. If I would have stopped and thought I have no chance, then I could not have taken advantage of the opponents error. I could not have known beforehand that Otten would make a mistake, but as long as there is a chance, my job is to stay alert to any possibilities.

- The win at Ferencvaros has finally closed the Europa League episode?

It hurt us all very much that we could not go through and realise our dreams of getting into the group stages once again. We had a taste last year of what the higher level of European football is like, so this was our aim, to get there once again. We did not manage to do this sadly. We spoke a lot after going out of the cup. We all had a slice of this bitter cake. Football can be like this, together in both good and bad times. It is very important that we had to get over this by the time we started the new league season. Luckily the results show so far that we are fully concentrating on the first division games. We want to show the supporters that we are mentally strong, and that in a short period of time, we have managed to get back off the floor. We will do all we can together so that we can celebrate the league title at the end of the season!
