Peter Solymosi will referee this Saturday's OTP League game at the Illovszky stadium, where Vidi will be looking to take all three points against Vasas. The 38 year old official from Veszprem, took his refereeing badge back in 1995. He made his debut in a youth game in the autumn of 1997, between Varpalota and Badacsonytomaj. He then quickly made his way to the senior level and third division football. Solymosi first took control of a first division game in 2002. That was in a match between MTK and Matav Sopron. He was the official in last season's 3-0 Vidi home win over Debrecen. He was also handed, perhaps the toughest fixture in Hungarian football in the autumn, when he took charge of the Ujpest vs Ferencvaros derby match. He has also been appointed referee in two of Videoton's games last season. Those were the game with ZTE, and the away match at Haladas, which ended in a 2-0 win for the home side.
