Videoton face Kecskemet on Tuesday evening in the Hungarian cup final in Budapest. We look back on the last time that Videoton played in the Hungarian cup final. That was back in 2006, when Vidi beat Vasas on penalties. Daniel Nagy and Balazs Farkas share their thoughts on that great evening for the club.

Daniel Nagy "It was a fantastic event, which can never be forgotten. We met Vasas in the final and it was a difficult game for us. I can imagine that many will remember that the match was settled by penalties and we came out on top. I did not play in the final, but when Zsolt Sebok saved the final penalty, and we won, all of the tension was released at that moment. We were screaming, shouting and it was a great feeling!"

Balazs Farkas: ”A cup match, especially a cup final, is never the same as a league game. It makes no difference how a team is performing in the league when it comes to cup finals. Tuesday's game with Kecskemet will be a tough game. Both teams will be looking to win the match. To win the Hungarian cup would really crown a great season, besides our league win. I feel that we are better prepared and organised than they are. I am a bit older than when we last enjoyed excitement by winning the cup five years ago. However, my nerves are much worse now!
