Elek: It has been a busy period for me lately

Akos Elek talks about the last few weeks

"I felt that the training camp in Spain was better than last year's one in Turkey. The weather was better and we were able to play on better quality pitches out there. Even more important is that I feel that the team are more together, than this time last year. I cannot say anything bad about my time in Dubai, and I would tell anyone who has the chance, to go out there and see it for themselves. It is a fantastic place! Our international match out there had more errors in our game than those of the last few. However, the friendly with Azerbaijan was useful, as we prepare for the Holland matches in March. It was good that the squad had the chance to get together and train a bit. Finally, our friendly match with Ujpest on Wednesday: We had two tough training sessions on Tuesday, and this could be seen on the team in the match. We will now have a little period where we can freshen up a little, and we will be fit and raring to go for the start of the league season next weekend. I am really looking forward to our league cup match with Paks on Saturday. The team are raring to go as this will be our first key match for a long time. If we can carve out a nice advantage on Saturday, as we did in the Hungarian cup game with Haladas, than I will be pleased with that," - said Akos Elek.
