Manager Gyorgy Mezey took a break from pre-season training, when he travelled to the UEFA HQ in Nyon, for a two day conference. The event included talks involving further training for Hungarian managers. Mezey is part of the committee, however, he has not been able to be as active as he would have wanted to, due to his present role at Videoton. "We needed to let the international Federation know the current situation, and the proposed changes to the plans involving training for the domestic managers. I made a presentation in this area as well. A UEFA committee is expected to pay a visit to Hungary, at the end of March, start of April, to see and check the current state of the pro-license training. They will also be wanting to know if the level meets theirs. There was also plenty of other interesting topics, which were covered, making it a valuable and worthwhile event to attend." - said manager Gyorgy Mezey.
