Videoton's pre-season campaign begins a new phase on Saturday. Gyorgy Mezey's side play their first friendly when Serbian side FK Spartak Zlatibor Voda visit the Sostoi stadium, with the match set to kick off at 13:30pm. They performed well in the Serbian league over the autumn season. The club which was formed in 1945 ended in 6th place in their domestic league. They won 5, drew 6 and lost 4 of their 15 league matches, with a goal count of 15-12. Vojo Ubiparip is the top goalscorer for the Serbian outfit, having scored 6 goals so far. However, he left the club over the winter transfer window period, moving to Polish side Lech Poznan for 600,000 €. He has yet to be replaced, so Marko Mirics, who hit 3 goals in autumn, looks set to lead the attack.
