Attila Polonkai, Videoton's left-sided midfield player is currently away on a family holiday in the Egyptian resort of Hurkhada. The family of five have gone away for a one week break to recharge the batteries. They had a fantastic time and have now returned to Hungary. However, they have had problems too as Mira, their 5-year-old daughter, has been taken to hospital with a suspected appendicitis problem. His wife has been by the hospital bed during the day, with Attlia taking over at night.

"We have been relaxing, but our eldest child, Mira, has been suffering with diarrhea and sickness, which is why she is in hospital. The doctors suspect that it could be a problem with her appendix. My wife is with her during the day, and I have been taking over in the evenings to make sure we are there for her. One positive note is that it is good that this did not happen earlier. We were away in Egypt from the 26th May, in the resort of Hurkhada. It was really amazing, and naturally we had to keep our eyes constantly on the kids. We really came back with fantastic memories, and I even tried a bit of scuba diving. I have also been relaxing at home, going for long walks and playing with the children. I have also been fishing of course! I managed to catch one carp and three breams. So generally everything has been fine, expect for the illness to little Mira. I hope that she will not be operated on." said Attila Polonkai.
