With 10 games played, Vidi have collected a total of 22 points, picking up 7 wins, drawing 1 and losing the other 2. The two defeats came against then bottom clubs, Haladas and ZTE. Vidi lead the table by two points from Győri ETO, with Ujpest right behind them. They have score a total of 26 goals while conceding 15 in the process.

Wednesday is Hungarian Cup 4th round day, as Vidi travel to county side Palhalma, The game kicks off at 15:00pm against the league leaders of the Fejer county. Palhalma have started their season in great form, winning all of their opening 7 games so far. Their 100% record includes scoring 27 and conceding just 4.

The visitors, who were backed up by a large travelling support, looked comfortable and played good passing football in the first 45 minutes. Things got better when Sitku pounced from close range to double the lead. However, FTC fought back and scored twice from two Peter Lipcsei corners. The first found the head of Ferenczi and was adjudged to have crossed the line, while the second ended up at the feet of the unmarked Wolfe to flick in from 5 meters out.

Videoton - ZTE  1-1 (1-0)League Cup group stageVideoton were in League Cup action on Tuesday evening, when they played out a 1-1 draw against ZTE. The game got off to a quiet start with no major talking points within the first 30 minutes. The action was mainly consigned to the midfield, with the two sides trying to win the personal battles. It was Elek who broke the deadlock just before half time, when he scored to put Vidi one up. However, ZTE were back on level terms on 49 minutes, but that was as far as it got, as the game reverted back to the pattern of the first half.
