Gyereksarok12321959 telén a Petőfi feloszlatásakor sorolták hozzánk az akkor nagyon fiatal Szabó Lászlót, aki a következő évtizedben időről időre szerepet kapott klubunknál. 1968-ban még edzőmeccsen játszott a Vidiben, Szabó II Károly bátyja. 1944-ben született, többszörös ifjúsági válogatott is volt, 1969 elején távozott a MÁV Előrébe. Elhunyt.
