Gyereksarok21Sitku Illés 1997 és 1999 között még a Ferencváros színeiben futballozott, amikor élvonalbeli játékossá vált és bajnoki ezüstöt is nyert. A III. Kerületnél, Pécsen, Pápán és Csepelen NB II-es labdarúnak számított, majd 2003-ban 31 meccsen 6 gólt rúgott az NB I-es Siófokban. 2004-ben Debrecenbe váltott és magyar bajnok lett, ezt követően igazolta le az FC Fehérvár.
Klubunknál azonnal Magyar Kupa-győztes lett, ráadásul a sorozatban rengeteg gólt rúgott - többek között a Vasas elleni kupadöntőn is betalált. Első évében 14, majd 10, 11, 6, végül pedig 7 alkalommal volt eredményes nálunk, összesen 116 bajnokin lépett pályára (közben pedig fél év törökországi légióskodás is belefért). Kétszeres Ligakupa-győztesként és bajnoki ezüstérmesként kölcsönadtuk Újpestre, ahol még 10 NB I-es meccs jutott neki, mielőtt Tatabányára igazolt.
A komárom-esztergomiakat a Dunaújváros kedvéért hagyta ott és bár velük NB II-es bajnok lett, az NB I-ben már nem játszott, mert Dorogra távozott.
