Photo2136Rus Adrián 1996-ban született az erdélyi Szatmárnémetiben, szülővárosában kezdett el futballozni, 2015-ig ott játszott. Az év augusztusában a Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg megyei első osztályban szereplő Fehérgyarmat gárdájához igazolt, ahonnan mindössze fél év után szerződtette egy profi csapat: az akkor NB II-es Balmazújváros. A Hajdú-Bihar megyei gárdánál 2016/17-re alapemberré vált és kivette a részét a gárda történetének eddigi legnagyobb sikeréből: második helyen végeztek és feljutottak az első osztályba. Rus az NB I-ben is megőrizte kezdő pozícióját az egyébként több helyen változó együttesnél, így játszott a nyitófordulóban, a Vidi ellen is.
A védőként és középpályásként is bevethető játékos 30 mérkőzésen két gólt szerzett az NB I-ben, betalált a DVSC 4-0-s kiütésekor, majd az utolsó előtti fordulóban győztes gólt ünnepelhetett a Paks otthonában. A Balmazújváros végül kiesett, Rus pedig 2018 nyarán aláírt a Puskás Akadémiához, amely azonnal kölcsönadta őt a román élvonalbeli Sepsi OSK-nak. Az erdélyi gárdánál november 9-én debütált a bajnokságban és 14 meccsen 1 gólpasszt osztott ki.
