Photo358Egykori montenegrói kapusunk első klubja a Podgorica külvárosában működő Zabjelo volt, majd a régió nagyágyúja, a Buducsnoszt igazolta le. 2008-ig volt Montenegro elsőszámú klubjának futballistája, de közben – kölcsönjátékosként – szerepelt a helyi Mladosztban, és a Komban is.
A nagy ugrás éve 2008, januárban a Partizan Beogradhoz szerződött. A Partizanban a 2009-2010-es szezonban mindössze öt gólt kapott – ez a remek széria is hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy a liga csúcstartója lett: 916 percen keresztül nem kapott gólt, ez 13 perccel több, mint amennyivel Nenad Lukics a rekordot tartotta. Belgrádban három bajnoki címet (2008, 2009, 2010) és két kupagyőzelmet (2008, 2009) szerzett.
2010-ben 26 évesen igazolt Székesfehérvárra, ahol részese lehetett klubunk történetének első bajnoki címének, ám a Bajnokok Ligájában, valamint az azt követő félévben Tomas Tujvelt preferálta Paulo Sousa. 2012 tavaszától azonban ismét Mladen állhatott a kapuba, a következő idényben pedig az emlékezetes Európa Liga-menetelést védte végig, óriási bravúrokkal és persze egy megnyert tizenegyespárbajjal segítve csapatunkat. Ligakupát és Szuperkupát nyert hazánkban, ezüstérmes lett a Magyar Kupában.
2009-ben lett a montenegrói válogatott első számú kapusa, 2010 őszén sorozatban hat mérkőzésen, közte négy Eb-selejtezőn (Wales, Bulgária, Svájc, és Anglia ellen!) nem kapott gólt.
2013-as távozását követően az orosz másodosztályú Tom Tomszk csapatának tagja volt, 2015-ben hazaigazolt Montenegróba, a Zeta Golubovci együtteséhez.
