Gyereksarok5521986-ban mindössze 19 esztendősen csábítottuk el Ózdról az egyik legnagyobb tehetségüknek számító Máriásit, aki abban az esztendőben az ifjúsági válogatottban is szerepelt. A hátvéd villámgyorsan beilleszkedett a Vidibe és kitűnő formájának köszönhetően 1988 őszén már a magyar válogatottban is bemutatkozhatott, ahol végül összesen 5 meccs jutott neki.
Öt éven át, 1991-ig játszott a Vidiben, majd egy szezont Siófokon töltött. 1992 nyarán az ETO-hoz ment, ahonnan a következő áprilisban a Diósgyőr vette meg. 1994 nyarán a Vasashoz szerződött, ahol három idényt is eltöltött, mielőtt Eszékre ment volna. Horvátországban fél év után átadólistára tették, de végül nem tudtak megegyezni az érdeklődőkkel, így tavasszal nem lépett pályára az 1. HNL-ben.
1998-ban kölcsönben tért vissza Széeksfehérvárra, az ősszel 10 meccsen játszott a szezon végén az élvonaltól búcsúzó klubunknál. A tavaszt már Csákváron, kettős játékengedéllyel teljesítette fiókcsapatunknál, aztán osztrák alacsonyabb osztályú alakulathoz szerződött.
2000-ben a fehárvári Dunafém-Maroshegyhez tért vissza, 2004 tavaszán fél évet húzott le Velencén, ezután egyet Kálozon, felet Polgárdiban, egyet Kápolnásnyéken, egyet Kajászón. 2009 tavaszán Borsodnádasdban tért vissza a magyar futball vérkeringésébe, 2010-ben Ózdra igazolt át, ahol 43 esztendősen még megjárta az NB III-at. 2011-ben Tarnaleleszre ment, ahonnan 2011-ben visszavonult.
