Gyereksarok911A Videoton (VT Vasas) 1960-as és 70-es éveinek egyik ikonikus alakja Burka Imre. A felnőttek között 1963-ban, 18 évesen debütált és az 1967-es idény elejéig kulcsfigurája volt a gárdának. A Videoton NB I/B-s bajnoki címét hozó idényben 12-szer lépett pályára, ahogy az élvonalban is, ám a kiesés után ismét megszilárdította helyét: 1974-ig mindig legalább 20-szor lépett pályára.
Végül 1975-ben, 150 NB I-es és 93 másodosztályú bajnokival a lábában igazolt a MÁV Előrébe, egy évvel később visszavonult, de előtte feljutott a másik székesfehérvári csapattal az élvonalba. Az 1975-76-os idényben 10 percet játszott, ezzel ő is ezüstérmesnek mondhatja magát az élvonalban.

A Videoton (VT Vasas) 1960-as és 70-es éveinek egyik ikonikus alakja Burka Imre. A felnőttek között 1963-ban, 18 évesen debütált és az 1967-es idény elejéig kulcsfigurája volt a gárdának. A Videoton NB I/B-s bajnoki címét hozó idényben 12-szer lépett pályára, ahogy az élvonalban is, ám a kiesés után ismét megszilárdította helyét: 1974-ig mindig legalább 20-szor lépett pályára.
Végül 1975-ben, 150 NB I-es és 93 másodosztályú bajnokival a lábában igazolt a MÁV Előrébe, egy évvel később visszavonult, de előtte feljutott a másik székesfehérvári csapattal az élvonalba. Az 1975-76-os idényben 10 percet játszott, ezzel ő is ezüstérmesnek mondhatja magát az élvonalban.
Többször játszott a magyar B-válogatottban.
