Match 30 of the OTP league season saw Vidi take on DVSC at the MOL Arena Sosto. Joan Carrillo fielded the following side: Kovácsik - Fiola, Juhász, Stopira, Hangya - Pátkai, Houri - Nego, Hodzic, Petryak - Nikolics. 

The first chance arrived on 8 minutes when a cross in from the wing bounced off the body of Barna and just wide of his own goal. Fiola shot over after 10 minutes following a corner. The game picked up with a cross from Petryak finding the head of Nikolic, who directed the ball towards goal from 6 meters, but keeper Kosicky saved. Then Hodzic shot over from 13 meters. A short drinks break was followed by a powerful shot that went over from Trujic for the visitors. A couple of minutes later and a cross from Hangya went just wide of the target from the head of Hodzic. Petryak crossed for Stopira to head wide just before the half time whistle and the first 45 minutes came to an end. 

Vinicius replaced Hangya at half time while Bodi came on for Kusnyir. The changes also included Adeniji coming on in place of Trujic. 

After only a few minutes of play, the rain started to fall hard on Sóstó and it did not stop until the end of the game. In the 55th minute, Petryak's corner was headed against the crossbar by Juhász. In the 58th minute Adeniji's flick was saved with great bravery by Kovacsik. In the 61st minute, Stopira headed the ball under the bar but the DVSC keeper pulled off a very good save. After another 3 minutes passed by when Funsho laid the ball into the path of Nikolov, and the international midfielder just failed to find the back of the net. Another short break was followed by a Petryak shot, which went just over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Futács played a pass to Stopira, who showed good movement, with the back of the neck next to the goal. 10 minutes before the end, Vidi took the lead: A Houri free kick, was met by Futács at a good pace and he slipped the ball into the Debrecen net (1-0).

The final whistle went and the three points mean that Vidi will finish the 2019-2020 season in second place. Debrecen will have a real battle now to avoid the drop.
