Marco Rossi visits the team in Spain

The Hungarian national team manager made the visit to the training base in Marbella.

Training for the team began at the now normal 10am on Thursday morning after breakfast. The Hungarian national team manager was present at the start of the warm up and remained for the entire session. He also spoke to some of the players before a lengthy chat with manager Joan Carrillo after training.

"I have known Joan Carrillo since 2012 when I was the manager of Honved and he was working next to Paulo Sousa for Vidi. I think he has done a good job and our relationship is based on mutual respect. We see many things the same way in football. I was really pleased to have a chat about his work, the players and football in general. I would also like to add that I also enjoyed a good relationship with former manager Marko Nikolic. I saw a very intensive training session in the morning" - commented the Italian manager.

Marco Rossi will also be present to watch Friday's friendly match with Winterthur, which will kick off at 16:00pm. "I will watch the training session of Puskas Academy on Thursday afternoon and then watch a friendly match of both Vidi and PAFC. I want the players to feel that I am behind them at times like this. I support them and not only when the league season is in progress. Naturally I do not want to disturb them but I would like to have a brief chat with them after the pre-season games."

The national team boss also spoke to Szilveszter Hangya following Thursday's session.

"Everyone needs to know that I always speak honestly about things if I am asked. There was a misunderstanding here but I am pleased that we could clear things up in person" - explained Marco Rossi.
