The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after the final whistle.

Marko Nikolic:
"I congratulate my team on the win. We picked up a valuable 3 points in a very tough game. I also congratulate Honved as they played with so much energy around the pitch. I also want to thank the supporters who travelled in large numbers to Budapest. Thank you as it means a lot to the team. We did not perform to the level we expect in the first half and you could see that the players were missing in the last couple of weeks from training following international duty. The condition of the pitch was also not the best but this applied to both teams. Perhaps we did not adjust to it as well as the other team as we gave the ball away in the middle 5-10 times in the first half. This was down to technical mistakes. I really hate it when we give easy balls away and I consider these gifts to the opponents. The second half was better and I could see more of the way I want us to play. Honved also improved and there were chances at both ends. In the end the supporters saw a one goal game following a brilliant move down the right, which ended up with us picking up 3 points. It was also important for us to make sure we did not concede a goal in the match. I did not like the last 5 minutes of the game. The way we ended the game was not professional and we lost possession. We were forced back to our own box and were clumsy. We tried to go for the second goal and there were chances but you need to play with patience. However, I want to congratulate the team for the win and for the opening six victories."
Giuseppe Sannino:
"Those who watched the game will be clear in the fact that my team put in a good performance. I am proud of them but football is measured by results. You could not see the difference between the two sides and the fact we were playing against the team at the top. This makes me proud. We try to continue to develop and improved despite the number of injuries we have. We want to show that we have a place in the first division. Those that played today gave their all and I felt that this was our best game so far. It shows that Honved has a real strength of togetherness despite having players out. Many times the deciding factor in a match is whether the ball goes in off the post or comes back out. Today it came back out but we will try to improve and climb the table in the weeks to follow."

The experienced duo retired from their playing career last season but will continue at the club in their new roles.

The defender spoke about the 1-0 win shortly after the final whistle.

A second half goal from Armin Hodzic secured the three points to remain top of the table.
