Szabolcs Huszti has signed a new deal after his present contract was due to end next summer!

The veteran experienced midfielder signed for Vidi in February 2018. He has gone on to win the league title, Hungarian Cup and be part of the team that made it to the Europa League Group Stage. He has appeared in 41 league matches and has scored 7 times with a further 14 assists. Season 2018-19 saw Huszti win the NB I domestic Canadian Table. He also scored in the EL matches against both Dudelange and PAOK.

"My contract was due to expire next summer but I felt that I still had something inside of me. I feel sure that I can help the team for a further year. Fortunately my feeling was mirrored by the club and we quickly came to an agreement on the continuation. The last year and a half has seen us celebrate the league title, Hungarian Cup and also reach the Group Stage. We have been working each day to achieve similar success in the future." - commented Szabolcs Huszti.
