Vidi were in friendly action on Sunday against Haladas, who suffered relegation to the second division at the end of last season. MOL Fehervar FC fielded a very different side to the one that was in Europa League action during the week.

Manager Marko Nikolic fielded the following side: Tujvel - Major M., Rus, Tamás O., Hangya - Kovács I., Tarnóczi, Pátkai - Bamgboye, Futács, Petryak. Also involved as part of the first team squad were second team members Oliver Tamas, Martin Major and Roland Tarnoczi. 

Haladas had the following team for the friendly game: Gyurján - Medgyes, Jancsó, Jagodics, Németh Mi., Bosnjak - Kiss B., Holdampf, Nyári - Németh Má., Gaál.

The first chance fell to Bamgboye on 3 minutes with an effort from 12 meters, which keeper Gyurjan saved. We then had to wait until the 21st minute for the next chance: A Hangya corner was flicked on by Rus for Oliver to bring a save out of the keeper. The resulting counter attack saw Bosnjak shoot from a tight angle, which Tujvel dealt with in the Vidi goal. 

The experienced keeper was brought more and more into action in the minutes that followed. Gaal shot from close range on 23 minutes, which produced a reflex save from Tujvel. A corner resulted in Gaal again trying his luck but again it was confidently saved by Tujvel. A Mario Nemeth free kick after 25 minutes found Jagodics who shot over. There were 32 minutes on the clock when he again had a chance from 10 meters, but Tujvel punched it clear. A cross from the right from Gaal was met with the left foot of Nyari, who blasted a shot but again he could not beat the home keeper. A cross from Mario Nemeth on 37 minutes was headed over by Bosnjak from close range. Gaal was again in the thick of the action with a point blank chance, which again saw the keeper very much alert to the danger.

The second half saw Oliver Dinnyes and Adam Halmai come on for Patkai and Petryak. Haladas also made changes as they ran out as follows: Gyurján - Cikos, Jagodics, Tamás L., Németh Mi. - Kiss B., Holdampf, Nyári - Eszlátyi, Novák, Fekete Á. Erik Galacs came on to replace Oliver Tamas after 52 minutes. Csanad Noak headed from 9 meters a minute later, which was collected by Tujvel. Vidi went ahead on the hour: Kovacs lifter the ball forward towards Futacs, who from a tight angle hit a right shot into the far corner (1-0).

Bangboye sent in a cross after 67 minutes, which Futacs reacted to and brought a save out of Gyurjan. Novak had a chance after 76 minutes, but the Haladas forward could not beat Tujvel. The final whistle blew and the useful friendly game ended with Vidi winning 1-0.
