Experienced keeper Tomas Tujvel has agreed terms that will see him extend his current contract with Vidi. Tujvel was a player with the club between 2009 and 2016. He had made 27 league appearances until 2013 and there were a further 46 in total. 

He was a member of the first ever league title winning squad and kept goal in the super cup final against Kecskemet, which Vidi won. He also performed regularly in the league cup and helped Vidi to lift the trophy in 2011/2012. He was also part of the squad that reached the EL Group Stage in 2012 and played in the away game against Sporting. Tujvel was the first keeper for Vidi to play in a CL qualifier and that came against Sturm Graz. 

Tujvel spent the 2014/15 season with Kecskemet TE and had a spell on loan with DAC in 2015/2016. He was the first choice at both clubs. He moved to Mezokovesd in the summer of 2016. The first division newcomers picked him in 39 of the 52 league games during his time there. He returned to Vidi in January 2018 and has kept goal in 5 league games over the last year and a half. There were a further 5 appearances in the Hungarian Cup and he also had the chance in the EL games. 

"I am delighted that they are counting on me in the future here in Szekesfehervar. I am in a great condition and feel that I can keep goal at the highest level for the next 4-5 years. I feel good during training and have fortunately avoided injury. Despite us not being able to defend our league title, I feel that it has been a very good season. It was only natural for the club to offer the new deal, which I am pleased that he will remain with us" - explained Director of Football Zoltan Kovacs.
