"We battled as a real team throughout the autumn season on the pitch. I feel that this was the secret to our success. It was a very long autumn season with so many key games. There were also one or two poorer results that slipped in. Overall we can have no reason to be disappointed. We collected 7 points in the EL group stage and also made it through to the next round in the Hungarian Cup. We are also just 5 points behind the top team in the league. We are capable of catching them up in the spring. The most important now is for everyone to rest. I will spend the break at home with my family and friends. I did not have time to visit them during the season. I hope that our results over the final week was a good present for everyone. I promise that we will give our all over the spring to pick up two trophies for Vidi's collection. We want to win the Hungarian Cup on top of the league title. Neither will be easy and we will have to work hard to achieve our target. We showed over the autumn that we are capable of overcoming our biggest barriers together.
