Hungary defeated Estonia 2-0 on Thursday evening in the Nations League.

Hungary played host to Estonia in the Nations League on Thursday evening in Budapest. Manager Marco Rossi included two Vidi players in his starting line-up with both Mate Patkai and Istvan Kovacs playing in midfield. Keeper Adam Kovacsik and defender Paulo Vinicius both took their place on the bench. The starting eleven were: Dibusz - Baráth, Orbán, Kádár, Korhut - Nagy Á., Pátkai - Nagy D., Kalmár, Kovács I. - Szalai.
Willy Orban headed home an 8th minute Kamar corner to give Hungary the lead. The teams went in at the break with the home side leading 1-0. Patkai picked up a yellow card in the 63rd minute, which means that he will not be available for Sunday's home group match with Finland. Hungary doubled their lead on 69 minutes when Szalai headed over the keeper and into the back of the net.
Patkai and Kovacs played the whole 90 minutes in the 2-0 win. Greece beat Finland 1-0 in the other group match of the evening. That means that Hungary are in third place and cannot drop out of the group. Finland need just a point on Sunday to secure top spot.
