Hungary have two more international matches to play in the Nations League. They are in action in Athens against Greece on Friday evening. Then they travel over to Tallinn, Estonia for the second game on Monday evening. Marco Rossi has named 4 players from Vidi in his squad. 

"The squad is more or less the same with the exception of one or two players than last time. This makes things easier for us as we all get to know the new coaching staff. We needed less time now to get to know them. Our first two games in the Nations League were different. We lost away in Finland before beating Greece at home in the next game.The latter game was a very good home win for us and this week has gone really well at the training camp. Preparations were made easier as we have recent experiences of the Greek side and we know what to expect in Athens on Friday. There will be several thousand home supporters in the stadium, and it will be a totally different match to the one in Budapest. Vidi already experienced in the summer what it is like to play in Greece with our game against AEK Athens. The stands were full with Greek supporters. At the same time we are sure that many will travel out to support us from Hungary. We will try our best for them and those back at home to get the best possible result. I feel that Greece will be more dangerous at home and will be more confident than was the case in Budapest. I felt that they underestimated us and I felt this was the case especially in the first half. We have not been focusing on the match in Estonia yet. We need to handle the first game and try to come out of it successfully. We will then have a little bit of time to prepare for Monday evening's game in Tallinn. We are footballers and our aim cannot be different than to try and get the most points we can from our two away games. Perhaps if we can come away from Athens with a point, we can be satisfied but I would not accept a point before our game with them" - commented Istvan Kovacs.

The Hungarian squad did not train on Wednesday morning, but there was a session on the tactical elements in the afternoon. Marco Rossi ran his players through several aspects ahead of Friday's game. Hungarian FA secretary Marton Vagi handed over to 3 players recognition of their 25 games for the A team. Those included Vidi defender Attila Fiola, Adam Nagy and Gergo Lovrencsics.
