MOL Vidi FC return to OTP league football on Sunday with MTK being the visitors. Vidi have played one game less as week 10 approaches of the league season. The match with Ujpest will be re-arranged for another date. Marko Nikolic' side are currently in third place in the table, with MTK one place behind. The match against the Budapest side will kick off at 18:00pm at the Pancho Arena.

The blue and whites were formed in 1888 and have spent only a few seasons in the second division. They were most recently promoted from the second tier at the end of the 2017-18 season having finished in 11th place in the NB I the season before. They comfortably won the championship to return to the top flight and have started this season well. They are in 4th place with 14 points to their name. 

MTK have fallen back a bit after their strong start having not won their last three games. They last picked up 3 points on the 25th August when they beat Haladas away. They have lost at home to Kisvarda and 3-0 away at Paks. Mezokovesd most recently picked up a point against them. They did go through in the Hungarian cup wth an 8-0 wn over Tallya KSE.

Current top goalscorer with 4 goals in 34 year old team captain Jozsef Kanta. However, the Canadian table has a different player at the top with Laszlo Lencse with 3 goals and 4 assists. Former Ukrainian youth international Artem Kychak and Adam Vass have played the most minutes this season. Lencse, Kanta and Bognar are just behind the duo. 

Manager Tamas Feczko spent the majority of his playing career in the third division. He managed Balmazujvaros to promotion in 2016-17 but left them to join MTK in the summer. MTK had just been relegated and he was successful once again to take them up.

The highest valued players are the two defenders, which are Ukrainian Selin and former Hungarian international Adam Pinter. MTK have several former Vidi players in their squad: The already mentioned Laszlo Lencse, Balazs Farkas, Sandor Torghelle and Tamas Kulcsar have all spent part of their career in Szekesfehervar. InStat have included Selin, Katona, Pinter, Bognar in their team of the week over the season. Also named is former player Ramos. Katona has the highest average point score with 243, with Adam Pinter on 242. Istvan Bognar is next up with 233. The latter two are summer signings, just like Patrick Ikenne-King who came in from Honved. The already mentioned Selin and two keepers Kichak and Laszlo Horvath. Departures included Ramos, Bori, Hrepka, Borbely, Jakab and Asztalos. MTK will have to do without long term injured player Bence Deutsch, but they do not have any suspensions.
