The draw for the UEFA Cup champions league play off will take place on the 6th August at midday in Nyon. The draw for the Europa League play off will be held an hour and a half later at 13:30pm. We already know that if Vidi come out on top against Malmö, then the following sides will be one of our opponents:

- PSV Eindhoven
- FC Red Bull Salzburg (AUT) - KF Shkendija (MKD)
- Celtic Glasgow FC (SCO) - AEK Athens FC (GRE)
- FC Astana (KAZ) - GNK Dinamo Zagreb (CRO)

However, if Vidi are knocked out of the Champions League, then they will enter the Europa League at the play off stage. There were 20 possibilities until now but those have now been slimmed down to 10 teams from the following 5 games:

- Ludogorets (BUL) - Zrinjski (BIH)
- Sheriff (MDA) - Valur (ISL)
- Spartaks Jurmala (LVA) - Suduva (LTU)
- TNS (WAL) - Midtjylland (DEN)
- Torpedo Kutaisi (GEO) - Kukës (ALB)
