The final weekend of the 2015/2016 OTP league season lies ahead for Videoton. The situation is clear with Videoton going into their match at Ujpest, knowing that three points would guarantee them a second place finish behind champions Ferencvaros. Each game will kick off at 16:30pm with the exception of the DVTK - Paks match, where nothing is at stake. Three other teams, MTK, Haladas and Debrecen all have the chance of securing a place in the Europa League from the available 3 places.
We take a look at the various scenarios that could happen on Saturday.
Second place and participation in the Europa League, if:
- Vidi wins at Ujpest - with the outcome of the other games not having an influence.
- Vidi lose at Ujpest, but Debrecen loses away at Bekescsaba, MTK fail to beat Vasas and Haladas do not pick up any points against FTC.
Third place and a Europa League football:
- Vidi draw away at Ujpest - Debrecen beat Bekescsaba, while MTK lose against Vasas.
- Vidi lose at Ujpest - Debrecen pick up a point at Bekescsaba, while both MTK and Haladas fail to win their games.
Fourth place finish and Europa League football:
- Vidi draw at Ujpest- Debrecen win at Bekescsaba, while MTK beats Haladas.
- Vidi lose at Ujpest - Debrecen draw at Bekescsaba, MTK beat Vasas and Haladas fail to win against FTC.
Fifth place, if:
- defeat at Ujpest - Debrecen draw at Bekescsaba, MTK beat Vasas, Haladas defeat FTC.
