The two managers gave their thoughts on the Hungarian cup match.

Horváth Ferenc:
„I would not say that we have lost a game that we were winning. This is because you cannot say that against Ferencvaros. We had the tie in our hands for 170 minutes, with Ferencvaros having just one chance in the first half, but nothing else apart from that. I did not feel as if they had more goals in them. I prepared the team and players to the best of my ability, which is why the defeat is very painful. If I said after Saturday's league game that it was a very good win, then I will say that this defeat is a very bad one tonight."
Thomas Doll:
„If we look at both matches, then I feel that we deserved to go through. we started the game well, and played the ball around well. We also showed combatitve football, but we fell behind after an error. We took a big gamble at half time, having one less player in midfield so that we could have two up front. Dani Bode was again well placed at the right time to score. I am a very proud manager, and I told my players this after the game. I am pleased that we are in the semi-finals."

Vidi could not make it into the semi-finals despite taking a first half lead through Stopira.
