5 Vidi players receive awards at the HLSZ Jubilee Gala

Joan Carrillo was named manager of the year, Szolnoki was part of the dream team, Juhasz came second in the player of the year.

The HLSZ Gala awards were held at the Millenráis Park in Budapest on Monday evening. It was a Jubilee Gala marking the 25th year of the event. There were close to 300 players present, but managers and club management were also naturally at the event as well.

Videoton were fully represented with the entire team present. At the same time none of the Ferencvaros team was there at the Gala awards. However, it was the Budapest club that ended up picking up the most awards. They are preparing for the Hungarian cup final on Wednesday evening.

The Gala began with the freestyle football European and World champion Kittin Szasz, which was then followed by the awards ceremony itself. Here are the winners:

"Thank you very much for the recognition of the HLSZ, which is truly for the team and Videoton FC. It really is a delight to work with these players. Naturally this recognition feels good, but I would say once again that this award is for Vidi. Thank you to my players and all those who help me!" - commented Joan Carrillo to the club website after picking up the award for the best manager for 2014-15.

"I can honestly say that I was surprised that my colleagues voted me in to the dream team. I have never really picked up any award since becoming a professional player. This is the first one and it really does feel very good" - revealed Roland Szolnoki to vidi.hu.

Brazil védőnk szerint megint bebizonyosodott, hogy megéri keményen dolgozni.
