Adam Gyurcso: "I am delighted that the game was memorable for both myself and the team"

Vidi's international midfielder scored a goal and also provided the assist for the second one. He helped make the game memorable following a 14 year period.

"It was not a simple game as Debrecen played really well. They had goalscoring chances in both the first and second half. I felt that we were sufficiently robust. We then had two one on one chances when we were 2-0 up. We could have finally settled the game at those points. These chances did not go in, which ended up making the match exciting. I am delighted that we managed to make the game memorable, both for myself and the team. I had only one thing in my head before the goal, which was to cross the ball in for someone to either head in or get a foot to it. If nobody managed to connect with it, then it should be dangerous in front of goal. I am delighted that I scored a goal and also assisted in the second one. I will never forget my 100th league appearance for the team, for sure" - commented Adam Gyurcso to the club's website.
