Vidi's El Salvador forward did not travel out to Austria with the rest of the squad. Club doctor Tibor Kovacs gave us an update.

"Arturo played for his national team at the start of June (as we had previously reported, scoring a goal against the Ivory Coast.), which is why he returned home later. The majority of the team took part in the usual medical check-up last Monday and Tuesday. Arturo Alvarez and the Hungarian international players, Kovacs, Gyurcso and Nikolics were given extra time to rest, returning back to pre-season training on Friday. They also took part in the medical check-up and various other physical tests. The results of Arturo's test required the player to undertake further tests on Monday, from where he will link up with the rest of the squad in Austria" - commented club doctor Tibor Kovacs to vidi.hu.

The Portuguese midfielder revealed that the hard work throughout the week ended with Sunday being a day of rest at the training camp.

The opponents attacked more during the first half. Goals from Feczesin and Oliveira saw Vidi lead at half time 2-0. A lovely goal from Kovacs made the final result 3-0.

One half of the squad trained in the gym, while the other half did physical tests on the training pitch.

The squad is expected to arrive at their hotel in the early afternoon with a training session also planned for the evening.

The squad was split into groups with several tests and results expected in the next few days.

The squad are expected to arrive in Szekesfehervar on Friday evening after a couple of weeks away in southern Spain.
