Paulo Vinícius arrived from Uruguay club River Plate, back in the autumn of 2011. He has made 79 appearances for the red and blues, scoring 5 goals in those games. His contract was due to expire on the 30th June 2014, but the 23 year old has signed an extension, taking it up until June 30th 2017.

"I am very pleased that I have signed this contract extension as I am playing in a very good team. I also feel really good at the club and also in the town. I will continue to give my maximum on the pitch, which is how I can best repay the trust and love, that I get from the club and the supporters" - commented defender Paulo Vinicius after signing an extended deal with Videoton FC.
